We Are Committed to the Worship of Jesus Christ!

Sundays @ 10:30 AM

It’s hard not to lose heart, and most of us are tempted to give up or give in at some point – and sometimes we do. We can become hopeless, joyless, uncaring, apathetic, disengaged, overwhelmed, perplexed, and exhausted. We can lose our courage and confidence. We can lose our zest for life and our passion for God and everything related to God. We can only handle so much before our minds short circuit and/or we run out of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual gas. Afterall, “we are [weak and fragile] jars of clay” (2 Cor. 4:7). Our physical bodies are “wasting away” (2 Cor. 4:16), and we experience many kinds of afflictions that can weaken us even further. The demands and disappointments of this life can really bring us down. We groan and bemoan, often feeling burdened and sometimes feeling burned out. But God is ready to love us through it as we practice the rhythms of renewal in 2 Corinthians 4-5. You can find sermons from this series on our sermons page.

Worship at Celebration Is a Celebration

Celebration is a church that celebrates the Triune God – God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The worship of God starts with the Word of God! Colossians 3:16-17 says, “Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God. Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.” This is why we are committed to honoring Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior through biblical preaching and singing. This is why we choose a blend of psalms, hymns, and modern praise songs that help us remember and apply what we are learning from God’s Word.
